It's often said that the biggest thrills experienced occur when they'e least expected. Recently riding a wave of good performances the WA bred Cetane surfed his way into a heat of the WA Derby tonight understandably under little fanfare. Despite his current good form over various distances Cetane was really there to see where he was at. Well early on he was at the rear of the field but by the end of the race he was thrillingly at the winning post first and next week he will be at Cannington and in the Group 2 final. As the Freo Dockers no doubt will win two Derbies this year, we're hoping Cetane can make it a clean sweep in the trifecta!
