After returning from New South Wales where she contested the National Distance Final, the mighty Tayza has shown she has recovered from the gruelling trip with two sensational wins at Cannington in 41.74 over the 715 metres and a flying 37.19 over the 642 metres last week. So, as a last minute decision, Pistol Pete Sayer suggested she’d done enough to deserve a chance at testing herself out under the bright lights of the big city of Melbourne against some of the hottest of the hot stayers going around in the Bold Trease Carnival Cup. Sunday night just gone, Pistol and Tayza jumped on an eastern states bound jet to go party with the big dogs.
