Having the syndicate greyhounds under the care of trainers Pete Sayer, Christine Bennett, Nathan Iwanyk, Jack Fleming and Jim Millsteed we rest easy knowing they’re in very capable hands.

With the difficulties and expenses attached to purchasing current race dogs from interstate Rapt In Racing carefully, cautiously and specifically plays a part in the breeding industry and produces litters from quality chasers and proven blood lines. Many of the pups are offered up for sale individually or as possible syndicated entities.

 

Given the enjoyment we ourselves get from racing greyhounds and the thrill of being involved with other members, Rapt In Racing purchases a share in each syndicate. In a manner of speaking we’re happy to back ourselves in on what we aim to achieve. We’re prepared and prefer to put our money in so we take the coinciding financial risk with owners. If we’re not prepared to back a syndicate financially then we don’t expect other members to do so either.

 

Owning greyhounds outright is expensive and, while it can be rewarding, it can also be heart breaking. We like to be associated with many greyhounds purely as a form of enjoyment and syndication is a way to make that hobby a reality and in a cost effective manner.

I do however ask that before anyone enters a syndicate with us, you make yourself fully aware of the underlying risks involved with greyhound racing. We do everything in our power to purchase and breed correctly to provide success but the sport of greyhound racing is an extremely high risk activity and often disappointment occurs which is above and beyond our control. We really prefer to not be involved with people who may suffer financial hardship or difficulties directly due to their investment in greyhound racing.
