Tonight at Cannington the Letting It Ride syndicate gathered in their large numbers to witness the debut race from their greyhound Let It Ride. After a false start a week and a half ago where Let It Ride was scratched at the last minute, the vocal Letting It Ride crew headed back out to the track for take two. They had to wait an extra ten days after the scratching and then tonight they had to bide their time and wait again while ten other races passed before they got to, what was in our minds, the main event. Well they say good things come to those who wait and after a brilliant super exciting come from behind victory tonight the syndicate members will surely tell you it was well worth the wait.

Diamond Bennett Does it Again

When you witness an effort which, from a talent perspective, can only be described as freakish you just have to sit back and marvel at it before standing up to applaud. Well Wednesday the 4th August will be forever known as the Corfield Syndicate marvelling and applauding day because last night at Mandurah their trainer Christine “Diamond” Bennett pulled out one of her slickest moves ever. The Corfield Tavern’s greyhound Falsario put in a huge form reversal when after four starts running either 7th or 8th she jumped to the lead and held all the challengers before going to the line to win superbly by almost two lengths.
